Academy Flow Chart
Step 1: Prerequisite: Basic Navigation Home Study Course
- You must go through the Basic Navigation Manual three times, practicing with the software. You do not need your biofeedback device to practice, only the software is needed. You will not be allowed to attend the Beginners course without having completed this prerequisite. Without this prerequisite, you will find the class over whelming and will slow down the rest of the class.

Step 2: Beginners Course
- Six days of training at the Academy
- Fee: $0
- Exam: Upon completion of the Intermediate and Advanced class.
Step 3: Timed Sheets - Log all sessions hours
- Begin to log the 500 client hands-on session hours needed for NTCB to qualify as a Certified Biofeedback Specialist, visit NTCB for details. Notify the when this is completed.
- Keep client names confidential and assign numbers instead.
- This step is optional, but recommended.
Step 4: NTCB Technician Application
- Application filled out upon the completion of the Beginners Course. This certificate will allow you to apply for Liability Insurance. In order to renew your liability insurance you must upgrade to the Specialist status.
- Fee: $150 to NTCB

Step 5: Liability Insurance
- Visit Biofeedback Association for details.
- This step is optional, but recommended.
Step 6: Anatomy & Physiology Course Online Exam
- Required if upgrading to Specialist
- You will receive this with your initial package
- $50 (USD) exam fee
Step 7: IQUIM Biofeedback Homestudy Course
- Fee: $0
- Required if upgrading to Specialist
- You will receive this at the Beginners Academy
Step 8: Coaching Course Home Study Course

Step 10: NTCB Certified Biofeedback Specialist Exam

- Exam proctored on the first morning of the Intermediate/Advanced Course
